Synopsis: Vegetative is a short visual poem; an experimental video which was created during the first Covid19 lockdown in spring 2020. This abstract piece plays with text and video and brings a dreamlike inner space into being. It explores the rapport toward nature and intimacy that we were forced to change abruptly. BAD DREAM (USA) BY CAMILO DIAZ

Synopsis: Here’s to bad dreams being just that-a dream. This spoken word piece written and narrated by Colby Hollman (Fear the Walking Dead) is juxtaposed with documentary footage shot at the 2020 Wendy's protest in Atlanta and portraiture captured by the filmmakers. Together, they create a visual representation of the black zeitgeist processing the violence of white supremacy. Impressionistic yet visceral in nature, Bad Dream is not only a representation of this experience, but a confrontation that forces viewers to consider their role in the racial structure of America. In the decade that followed, Ben has slowly pieced his past back together. More than that, he's completed a masters, presented a TED Talk and wrote a memoir. KINGUIO (BRAZIL) BY BARBARA MAGRI, VICENTE FRANÇA

Synopsis: The feeling of being alone with everybody written by Charles Bukowski was the main inspiration for this project. That's when we came across this aquarium in a marginal motel in downtown São Paulo. The fishes swimming in circles while all the people come and go in the hotel have a lot in common with our main character: Beauty, resiliency and dreams limited by glass walls. Kinguio is a film about feeling alone, but relying on that feeling to find self-love and reach emotional maturity. Running time: 00:03:00.
